Dr Helen Ferris

Chartered Occupational & Counselling Psychologist

Helen is a Chartered Occupational and Counselling Psychologist and coach who specialises in helping organisations and individuals improve their mental health within work. I previously worked in radio production at the BBC, but then moved into leadership and management development across the public sector. I then started working for the NHS, completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, focusing on managing long term mental health conditions in employment. I left the NHS in early 2019 and now work as a self-employed Psychologist - providing mental health and wellbeing advice to organisations and therapy and coaching to individuals. I enjoy helping people to find meaning in their work and using evidence based approaches to achieve this.
